Issues identified by The Joint Commission review require prompt resolution within mutually agreed
upon timeframes. Other than The Joint Commission required changes (e.g., algorithm, data
elements, allowable values, ICD-9-CM codes, medication tables, and risk adjustment), any updates
made to the measurement system core measure-related data collection tool must be proactively
shared with The Joint Commission for re-review. |

5B The measurement system has successfully completed The Joint Commission’s current verification process for each
core/ core test measure set it intends to support. The intent of the verification process is to
establish that current core measure algorithms have been embedded by the system prior to offering
respective core measure sets to their clients.
