Can we discuss a common laboratory troublesome issue.
The pseudohyperkalemia is artificially pre analytical high serum or plasma K due to factors that are non analytical.
Some of these factors are:
Tourniquets
Fist clinching
Centrifugation
Needle gauge
Patients RBC fragility.
If anyone can share information on this subject ?
Thanks
